Guildford Landscapes Ltd has been building driveways, patios and gardens across Guildford and Surrey since 2015. Darren set the firm up around a simple conviction: that what sets a job apart is rarely the paving you can see, but the base beneath it and the hands that lay it. Get those right, and a driveway lasts; cut corners on either, and it doesn't.

Two decisions follow from that. The first is that we became approved installers for Natural Paving, Tobermore and Stonemarket — manufacturers who only put their name to installers whose workmanship meets their standard. The second is that we run our own fleet of plant machinery rather than hiring it in job by job, so the excavation, sub-base and levels are dug, consolidated and set right by our own team.

Over the years the work has grown from driveways into full hard landscaping — block-paving and natural-stone drives, Indian sandstone, limestone and porcelain patios, turfing and lawns, fencing, decking and brickwork — with one team carrying a job from the first site visit to the last edge cut. When one crew is answerable for the whole job, nothing gets lost between trades.
